‘ABORTION CURB SIGNED IN ALABAMA.’

  Alabama Governor Robert Bentley on Wednesday signed  into law a bill banning abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, making it the fifth state to enact such a restriction this year. The law goes into effect September 1.  The measure which was approved by the large majorities in both chambers of the Republican controlled legislature, makes performing such procedures a felony, with no exceptions.

  Alabama law currently allows abortion up to  the stage of fetal viability usually up to the stages 24 to 26 weeks gestation.  Good for them! Too bad it the South who have the good ideas into action in this writer’s opinion!

There fore, let us pray to the Lord to enlighten us  so that, in our world, HE will grant us the encounter with his presence, and  thus give us a lively faith, an open heart, and great charity for all, capable of renewing the world. ‘

 ’Born the son of God, He was the son of man, lived as a servant’s life so selflessly. But the people couldn’t understand how he fit in their plan, so they crucified him to a tree.  Three days had gone by and there his body lay. The tomb was sealed, a guard was standing by. The ground beneath began to shake, the stone was rolled back in the quake. Jesus rose again! He was alive! 

 Once and for all Christ has redeemed us. Once and for all he died to set us free. By the sacrifice he made, our debt of sin was paid, to bring us back to God once and for all.  Sin, where, is your victory? Death where is your sting? The grave has been defeated, could not hold the king of kings!’

‘BLESSED JOHN PAUL ON THE WAY TO SAINTHOOD.’

  This past January, I was attending the World Youth Day 2011 International Preparatory Meeting of the Episcopal Conferences of the world, which includes leaders of international youth movements and the Spanish national team for world Youth Day 2011, taken place  in the Royal Monastery of El Escorial in the mountains outside Madrid in Spain.  On the Friday of our meetings, they  were interrupted when Cardinal Stanislas Rylko, President of the Pontifical Council for the laity at the Vatican.  Made the important announcement to share.

  Pope Benedict  XVI had approved the miracle attributed to the venerable Servant Of God, POPE JOHN PAUL II, thus clearing the way for his beatification. Cardinal Rylko then announced that Pope Benedict himself, would formally proclaim John Paul ‘Blessed on May 1, 2011 during a ceremony in St Peters Square at the Vatican.  In this writer’s opinion, Good for Pope John Paul! He deserves the time in the light and in many people’s opinions, is the best of the best of popes in our time! See more of the story at

‘MARCH FOR LIFE 2011.’

   The March For Life is an annual demonstration advocating leaders of congress to implement polices that protect and preserve life from start to finish. The Catholic Church traditionally sponsors interested youth to go on the trip with qualified adults chaperones each year at this time.

  The experience includes seeing the sights of Washington D.C. and meeting with congressional leaders to express our views. ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!’

 This is a good summary in light the troubles in the Midlle East and the murder of Catholics there putting out the good word to the people. Here is some of  the writing that I wanted to share with you.  Hope you enjoy it.

  ‘Ask, am I a generous giver? Or am I selfish with my time, talents, or time? St. Paul says in Cor. 9-6 “whoever sow sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will reap bountifully.”

  What is St.Paul talking about? Do we sow love bountifully? Do we see Christ in  each person we meet? Can we see Jesus in the poor homeless person as in the wealthy businessman? It was the self sacrificing love of Christ that saved the world? I believe that it is though giving away all the gifts God has given to us in love and mercy that we sow bountifully and generously in 2011.  In this writer’s opinion, well put Deacon and I agree with you.

‘USDA PUBLICATIONS PROMOTE CONSERVATION PROGRAMS FOR LAND OWNERS.’

 The USDA with the push of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Group  spreading the word about farm  conservation bills. Good for them. The American Farmer is important for our nation and  part of the backbone of who we are. ‘IF CONSERVATIVE MAJORITY HAPPENS, THERE WILL BE A OVER TURN OF OBAMA CARE.’

   If all goes well and a conservative majority happens, Republicans and conservative Democrats, look for the first action in congress to over rule National Health Care in February or March. In this writer’s opinion good. We can’t afford this and causes deep cut in Medicare and Social Security! They have to shore up the Social Security so it don’ t go out and cut out the many who depend on this !

  Medicare will always be there to help those who need special care along with county health centers and Catholic Church for example.  Abortion is also covered that I disagree  on as a Catholic person.   This is wrong and immoral to the Lord.  Over turn is the way to  go and not ruin the country we live in with something we can’t pay for or cover murder of innocent children who can’t fight for themselves!

‘KATRINA FIVE YEARS LATER.’

  Good story by MSN Anderson Copper on  New Orleans today.   Five years after Katrina. Hope, fears, and together by the good citizens  in that city.  Putting the City Of New Orleans back on the map as a great place to live and visit.
