  Next Sunday, October 23, Pope Benedict XVI calls every Catholic in the world to celebrate our vocations to be missionary. It’s World Mission Sunday! As Catholics around the world, here at home, and in missions gather at the Eucharist around the table of the Lord, we are to pray for the Catholic’s worldwide missionary work. We pray for those awaiting the ‘Good News’ of our Lord great love for us and for missionaries who offer the poor and suffering the light of Christ.

 We are offering financial help though the society for the Propagation of the faith  for more than 1,150 dioceses in Asia, Africa, America, and the Pacific Islands. ‘OBAMA TELLING HOW CONSERVATIVES WILL WREAK AMERICA.’

 Wonder why Pres. Obama is on the attack telling us how Republicans will ruin America and his plan is the best. How he is telling  us to shape up and ‘stop crying.’ Is he getting worried that he is through in 2012 perhaps? People tired of his Tax and spend policy and high unemployment problem? Can’t blame Bush on this one my friend. ‘ Your problem, you fix it!

 Unemployment is getting worse as days go on, treating the recession as a joke, and endless excuses in between! Pass that bill’ bit  is getting old fast and this writer is worried about four more years of Socialism programs and give aways we can’t afford! His wife telling us what to eat and not eat for example. If I want to eat hamburgers and smoke a case of smokes, that is my business and health concern not hers.

   Hopefully, a conservative Democrat will run ( not Mrs. Clinton) with plan for the economy and winning this war! Pro- life is also a plus and a friend of Israel.  Time for change for sure. If not Republican in the general election is needed! Our values in mind as Americans not Obama!

‘ PUT AMERICA FIRST WASHINGTON!’

  Listening to C-Span today, I find it very interesting that President Obama would veto a Republican Bill on the budget because it goes against The Frank  Bill in the house accord to the Hill newspaper. Obama even went as far as to tax the wealthy. He  then walked out of meetings as the talks went on upset at what he was hearing. Too bad for him.

 Put America first people! In short, we have to stop spending what we don’t have! Cuts in programs that suck the life out of America are a good idea. Welfare reform for those who are able to work but choose not to for example is a good start. 

   How can the  rich be punished for making money? That is how our country works. It top to bottom. That is our economy.  So I thought. Glad to see the Republicans and conservative Democrats hold Obama’s  feet to the fire so to speak. Someone has too. P.S. Will Trump run? We hope so.

‘BLESSED JOHN PAUL ON THE WAY TO SAINTHOOD.’

  This past January, I was attending the World Youth Day 2011 International Preparatory Meeting of the Episcopal Conferences of the world, which includes leaders of international youth movements and the Spanish national team for world Youth Day 2011, taken place  in the Royal Monastery of El Escorial in the mountains outside Madrid in Spain.  On the Friday of our meetings, they  were interrupted when Cardinal Stanislas Rylko, President of the Pontifical Council for the laity at the Vatican.  Made the important announcement to share.

  Pope Benedict  XVI had approved the miracle attributed to the venerable Servant Of God, POPE JOHN PAUL II, thus clearing the way for his beatification. Cardinal Rylko then announced that Pope Benedict himself, would formally proclaim John Paul ‘Blessed on May 1, 2011 during a ceremony in St Peters Square at the Vatican.  In this writer’s opinion, Good for Pope John Paul! He deserves the time in the light and in many people’s opinions, is the best of the best of popes in our time! See more of the story at

‘LENT WITH THE HELP OF GOD.’

  On our own we cannot  live the life God intends for us. like Abraham, our lives can produce great fruit only if we follow God in faith. This week, pray for the grace to follow God with strong faith. Pray also to see the poor in our midst so that we may assist them, for the fruit of faith is love.   My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. ‘FUNDING FOR NPR.SHOULD THEY GET THE CUT? ‘

Dear reader-

  Today, congress will decide on ending the funding for the NPR  ( National Public Radio.) What is your opinion? Should this happen. I feel that money being tight, we have to cut back someplace just as you or I would on stuff we can’t afford. Maybe NPR  maybe  able to get backing as a regular national network as CBS or NBC? I do believe that the freedom of speech apply however. They be more  to the left but do have rights to have a say on matters of our nation. That is what our country is about.

‘WHY SHOULD I SUPPORT RELEVANT RADIO?’

Psalms 121:1-2

‘I  lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence dose my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.’

Dear friend

 You may ask, why should I give to help Relevant Radio? There is a good reason. That is to spread God’s word though out the world we live in.  Relevant Radio is a useful tool to get the word out. I feel Relevant radio is important and hope you do too. 

 Why support relevant radio? In today’s world, there is endless talk radio that preaches word other than Jesus Christ. Liberal radio pushing homosexual marriages, it’s cool to rebel against your parents , and acceptable to have abortion and clinics that offer such. Atheism  teaching that there is no God and that Darwin ‘s ideas  that we came from a cell is being taught in the class rooms today! As we know however, this is wrong.

  It’s God who  is responsible for us being here beginning with Adam and Eve. in short, we have to be humble and thank Jesus everyday for the good he doses for us. When we are  under pressure and not able to know what to do, go to the Lord for the guide toward the answer.

 That is what he wants us to do.  Never worry about ” I can do this on my own .” ’ I don’t want to bother God.”   The famous one, ‘ I don’t need God.’  He want us to go to him and get the help of forgiveness for our sins. James 1-5 states that ‘ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth act: and it shall be given him. ‘

  Why I hope you will go to the Relevant radio web page and give what you can. it’s important to get the word out though the world to reach people here at home and the world who need  the word of God and those who never met God at all! Yes this is true. I support Relevant radio for that reason.  That is to GET THE WORD OF THE BIBLE THE ONLY TRUE WORD OF GOD THOUGH THE CATHOLIC CHURCH OUT INTO THE WORLD.Not liberal or non believers who only want to trash our faith.  Do you feel the same way?   The remains of John The Baptist were located in Bulgaria near Istanbul once known as the Ottoman Empire according to sources. This is a major find for those who hold the Bible as true as this writer doses. John The Baptist was well-known for being humble when asked to baptize Jesus. He was killed in an infamous request. Several regions claim his remains as of today. We have to follow this story as it unfolds in the coming weeks!!

‘LAWMAKERS INTRODUCE LEGISLATION TO PERMANENTLY PREVENT ASIAN CARP FROM HITTING GREAT LAKES!’

FROM WASHINGTON, D.C.

   Legislation is being introduces By Sen. Durbin  that would keep out the Asian Carp from the Great Lakes area by using the Army Corp. Of Engineers to block off the Mississippi from the Great Lakes. Living in the Great Lakes area  of  Illinois, I wonder if this is wise and what would happen if that is done?

 Would this get rid of the carp that is there and killing off plants and fish? How would they stop the carp from increasing in numbers and have a problem anyway? Not to mention the money that would be thrown into this?  This is a question.

 I can see the only way to do this is to dam off the area from the Great lakes. What would happen to shipping and coal vessels and the towns that depends on that and food goods? Not to mention employment being killed off more. How can they get ships though?  This writer disagrees on this part.

   Finally, this writer feels that there is more study needed before a cut off is made that will only be a temp answer and make the economy worse and poorer also. Congress better try something else not waste time and money on this project!

   p.s. I seen a little comment from the same paper ( that shall be nameless) that states  ‘YOU MIGHT BE A REPUBLICAN IF …. YOU EVER TOLD A CHILD THAT OSCAR THE GROUCH LIVES IN A TRASH CAN BECAUSE HE IS LAZY AND DON’T  WANT TO CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY.’  Excuse me? you mean those who are able to work but choose to rip off the system paid by us the hard-working American. Not those who are in real need In this conservative Democrat’s opinion! I am not the only Democrat that thinks this! Oh for November to get here.
