‘Help Protect The EPA Standards’

Help the league Of Conservation  Voters protect the environmental Protection Agency from the continued push of big polluters and anti environment members of congress from ending  the EPA standards that we depend on everyday! Water, air, and land protection. This is something this writer feels strong about and hope its doses stay.

Started by Pres. Nixon in the early 1970′s this has started the push for better air and water from  corporations that took advantage of the law . Forgetting that we are God’s gate Keepers and have the duty to maintain what he gave to us.  Because of this, pollution was cut back that time  and I did see a change for the better compared to before with discolored air and wreaked waterways of oil and such!

This is nothing new of course. The natural parks idea started by Pres.Thomas Jefferson Later  Pres. U.S. Grant enacted the first park in 1871.  It was Pres. Theodore Roosevelt who enacted protection during the 1900′s against railroad barons and millionaires out to make a buck on the back of nature. He made many angry people but did what was  right thing to do.  Why we have to continue with EPA for example. Ask yourself? Do we want a place to see animals for example in nature livings or only a zoo?    See more at www.lcv.org  today.

‘PERSONHOOD BILL FAILS IN OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE.’

OKLAHOMA CITY-

A proposed  “personhood law in Oklahoma that would grant an embryos full rights as people from the moment of concepton failed in the state legislature on Thursday without coming to a vote in the Republican controlled house.

  The personhood Act passed in February in the senate and Republican Governor Mary Fallin have been expected to sign it. But it failed in committee where it sat.

   In this writer’s opinion, it’s hard to believe that this is an issue. In a federal level, it should be the states that should have the rights to choose abortion or not over all.  

  Given a reason why everyone has to do their homework and vote for the Republican candidate for president and get the vote to the states and not the federal government as  in Roe V Wade and other issues.  President Ronald Reagan was right when he said, ” Government isn’t the answer, but the problem.’

‘OBAMA AS T.R.? ARE YOU SERIOUS?’

 President Obama was in Kansas State giving an economy speech with the believe of the ” New Theodore Roosevelt ‘ with hopes people will take that seriously. Really? Lets see, T.R. was born in New York State, police commissioner, a war hero  during the Spanish-American  War, vice president, and President.  In a nut shell a true American who loved his country and God.

   Later a writer, traveler, hunter, and even put the country first not party going Bull Moose in 1912. He would have been elected president in 1920 if he hadn’t passed away in 1919.

  President Obama? I will stop here because I don’t want to be a person who talks bad of people. I will have to refrain myself from laughing as I add his profile. I can’t type and do that. Please! No match up here.

‘PERRY EMERGING AS A FORCE WITHIN THE CHRISTIAN RIGHT.’

‘On a remote ranch more than 70 miles out of Austin, evangelical leaders assembled for a 2 day retreat. It wasn’t a religious revival that drew the group of 2oo Christians but the chance to hear Governor Rick Perry give his testimony why he should be President Of The United States.

  Among Perry’s promises to those at the ranch that he would select a pro-life running mate. He spoke openly about his faith and was honest and very upfront on his answers.  ( I like the pro-life part.)

  The  retreat comes just weeks after Perry hosted a prayer rally at a stadium in Houston Christian leaders agree he had solidified his standing as he now heads to Iowa and South Carolina to get the word out about why he should be president. 

  The meeting received little public notice even though the attendees included James Dodson of Focus On The Family, Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council and Bishop Harry Jackson of the largest Black churches in the United States for example.’

  In  this writer’s opinion, good for Governor Perry! It is nice to see a candidate who is not afraid to openly speak about his faith and how it guides him in public office. The country would be a better place if we had candidates who gave us honest answers and not what we like to hear just to pull a vote in their favor. That is a very good thing.

WHERE VOTERS STAND . If the election were here today, how would you vote? Interesting stats indeed. Looks like the religious folks have a big say in the matter! Good!

‘OBAMA TELLING HOW CONSERVATIVES WILL WREAK AMERICA.’

 Wonder why Pres. Obama is on the attack telling us how Republicans will ruin America and his plan is the best. How he is telling  us to shape up and ‘stop crying.’ Is he getting worried that he is through in 2012 perhaps? People tired of his Tax and spend policy and high unemployment problem? Can’t blame Bush on this one my friend. ‘ Your problem, you fix it!

 Unemployment is getting worse as days go on, treating the recession as a joke, and endless excuses in between! Pass that bill’ bit  is getting old fast and this writer is worried about four more years of Socialism programs and give aways we can’t afford! His wife telling us what to eat and not eat for example. If I want to eat hamburgers and smoke a case of smokes, that is my business and health concern not hers.

   Hopefully, a conservative Democrat will run ( not Mrs. Clinton) with plan for the economy and winning this war! Pro- life is also a plus and a friend of Israel.  Time for change for sure. If not Republican in the general election is needed! Our values in mind as Americans not Obama!

PROVIDING HELP. CREATING HOPE.

‘STOP THE TAR SAND PIPELINE!’

Dear readers

  It’s appalling that the State Department has been rushing headlong toward approval of the Key Stone XL tar pipeline, which could devastate  the environments in both Canada and the United States. Tar sand have been called the ‘most destructive project on earth’ because it is laying waste to the great Borealk Forest , obliterating migratory bird nesting grounds and spewing excessive global warming pollution . In addition transporting the world’s most dirtiest oil to refineries in Texas  and threaten  birds and other wildlife there. 

    This  area for example , will be in the path of this and threaten American heartland ‘s most entire ecosystems and drinking water supplies while rasing gas prices in the Midwest. This is not what God wants of us when he states we have command of the fish in the sea and beasts on the earth. ( See Bible first chapter.)  This seems t o be a continued pattern going back  to the days of President  Theodore Roosevelt vs. those who wish to “improve .”

  Call on President Obama and the State Department  and  tell them this is not in our nation’s best interest and serves no one in the long run.  There has to be other cleaner ideas to use to get oil we need? Harming  wildlife areas are not one of them.  See the web link below and stop the Key Stone XL pipeline!
