‘NATIONAL PRAYER DAY LAW OK, APPEALS COURT SAYS.’

   A U.S. Appeals Court Thursday over turned a ruling that had found unconstitutional a law that required the president to proclaim a national day of prayer each year. The  7th  U.S. Court Of Appeals in Chicago said the group that brought the challenge. The Freedom From Religion Foundation had no standing to do so because the law commands only the president to take action.

  The court reversed a federal judge in Wisconsin and ordered the case to be dismissed. In the Opinion of the Catholic American good. It’s called freedom of religion. If you don’t want to pray or for that matter go to church, don’t. Please don’t push your opinions  on the rest of us! Your hurting only yourself. Go to church!

‘OIL FROM CANADA? WHY NOT?’

  Here is a good idea heard on the local news station in Chicago. Oil from Canada. Less in price, more jobs for Americans here at home. Why not? Do we have  to fall  all over the oil barons of the Middle East? Of course not. Get the oil for far less a price from  ’Our friends of the North’. We can in the mean time work on electric for cars and solar. GOOD BYE TO THE MIDDLE EAST! ( GOOD RIDDENS IS BETTER PUT.) This is a very good idea  of the Catholic American. Hope it is put into action!

  On another note, The Catholic American likes how Donald Trump handled the Obama birth cert. problem. He was the only person to call the so-called president to the carpet and force the issue. This while others stood back and waited to see what would happen.  For that, The Catholic American endorses TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012! 

 

#PRAY FOR THE  SOUTH AFTER THAT STORM .

‘IF CONSERVATIVE MAJORITY HAPPENS, THERE WILL BE A OVER TURN OF OBAMA CARE.’

   If all goes well and a conservative majority happens, Republicans and conservative Democrats, look for the first action in congress to over rule National Health Care in February or March. In this writer’s opinion good. We can’t afford this and causes deep cut in Medicare and Social Security! They have to shore up the Social Security so it don’ t go out and cut out the many who depend on this !

  Medicare will always be there to help those who need special care along with county health centers and Catholic Church for example.  Abortion is also covered that I disagree  on as a Catholic person.   This is wrong and immoral to the Lord.  Over turn is the way to  go and not ruin the country we live in with something we can’t pay for or cover murder of innocent children who can’t fight for themselves!

‘DO NOT BE AFRAID. HOW JESUS CAN BANISH YOUR FEARS.’

   Good news story that I believe hits home in these tough times we face. Sister Shields make a very good point for all of us. In this writer’s opinion.  Hope you enjoy this as I did reading it.  God Bless………….

  This is  a  good moment to look at the issues of faith in Christ. Times are very difficult in our country right now. People are losing their homes and jobs. Fear is rampant. When everything is out of control, what can you do?

   First, open your Bible to the Gospel Of Mark and read Chapter 5 verse 21-43, out loud. do this now before you continue reading this article. Keep the Bible next to you. Remember that the word inside is living and active, shaper than any two edged sword. It has the power to separate bone from marrow. (Hebrews4-12) In other words, it has the power to reach inside of you touch your spirit and help you see truth more clearly than you ever have before. 

   God’s word has the power to change your life. Because it is easy to become distracted, I want your eyes and your ears to take in words so that the life-giving power of it can penetrate beyond a superficial understandings. Approach this passage with much faith as you have no matter how little it may be.

 you’ll notice that the passage contains two stories both teach us a lot about our faith and perseverance.

   Let take a look at the first story. Jesus has been ministering to great crowds of people., calling  out demons and healing the sick. Ask yourself this question? ‘ What would I done under similar circumstances? Then ask the lord to increase your faith in him. Pay attention here; note the scripture says Jesus says to her, “Daughter your faith has saved you.” Jesus listens to us in the same way. God is never put off by our sins and failing if we are repentant. Never let anything hold you back from bringing your needs to him.

   As you think about these two stories of healing and resurrection, think about what lessons they have  for you? Where are you weak? Can you humbly and honestly place weakness before Jesus and ask him to increase your faith? Ask for a faith that can burn steadily no matter  the seemingly insurmountable obstacles: work, family, health crises. Trust in his love and “Do not be afraid. ”

‘COULD ARLEN SPECTER COME BACK AS AN INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE?’

  Could be possible? Well think about that? Sen. Joe Lieberman lost his primary to a radical and became an Independent and won the election in November of that year!  With the help of  conservative Democrats, Independents, and Republicans.

  Sen. Specter lost the election, but has many backers and labor unions. Not to mention those who are the honest hunters and fishers who worry that Sustak will go the way of Obama and take away the rights to bare arms and protect your home. Or this? Andy Sterns and the SEIU running the show and calling the shots? Or wrose yet, ACORN ? YUK!

   Can Arlen come back from political dead? In this business, and I have been in this stuff a long time, coming back and winning isn’t impossible!  Depends on how bad he wants it and work to get it! ‘ The mother of all come backs!’ I hope he does. Even as an’ Independent Democrat.‘       It’s not impossible? It would be good for the Democrats!

‘PROTECTING HEALTH CARE TOPS V.F.W. LEGISLATIVE AGENDA.’

‘TRADEWELL SPEAKS DIRECT TO THE CONGRESS. OFFERS ADVICE AND CRITICIZED ERRORS. OFFERS A NINE POINT SOLUTION TO LAWMAKERS.

   The V.F.W. Commander In Chief Thomas J. Tradewell was meeting with the Senate and House Veteran Committees to speak about care of veterans and the state of the VA. “America’s veterans and military retirees look to you-our champions in congress-to protect both programs to do so vocally at every opportunity. “  

   Chairman of the House VA Committee Rep. Bob Filner (D) CA. promised  to put the concerns of the vets at the top of the list. Here are some of the ideas presented by Commander Tradewell to the congress:

#Medical Care Allocate 52 Billion toward veteran care for year 2011 and enroll 125, 000 new Category 8 veterans into the VA health care system the next four years.

#Mental health Care-Develop strong outreach and education programs utilize meaningful post deployment health assessments and urge vets to reach out to new members.

#Family caregivers-Support-  S 1963 and assistance for all caregivers but oppose a program mandate without the necessary funding.

#POW/MIA -Have congress fund programs to fully account for those still missing in action and to bring them home.

#Post 9-11 GI Bill- To assist in College and living stipends.

  In the opinion of the Catholic American, Good. Our veterans put their lives on the line for the number one reason, FREEDOM for us here! We as good citizens should honor them not only on Veteran’s Day or Memorial Day, but all year round for the fine work they do!  In this writer’s opinion,  past and present wars. God Bless!

‘THE MICRO CHIPPING OF AMERICANS?’

This in the Health Care Bill Or OBAMA CARE.  True or not? You make that call. If so, violation of ones rights!

 The government will establish a National Medical Device. What doses this mean?  lets get this out of the way first on what this is about. Then details on this infomation.

National Medical Device Registry from H.R. 3200 healthCare Bill (g) (i) The secretary shall establish a national medical device to facilitate analysis of postmarket safety and outcome has been used in or on a patient. (B) and is (i) a class III device implanted, life supporting, or life sustaining. ( IN  OTHER WORDS, TRACKING OF WHERE YOU GO AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS! U.S.S.R. STYLE? YOU MAKE THE CALL? )

 

  Highlights of the bill with micro chipping as follows: Approved by the FDA, a class 11 implantable device is an implantable patient identification and health information . The purpose of a class II device such as claims data patient survey data standard analytic files that allows disparate environments, health records, and any other data be used or seen.

‘DISABLED VETERANS NATIONAL FOUNDATION>CALL TO ACTION.’

  Here is a fine group the Catholic American supports,  A group that believes in helping those who fight for us and the values of this great nation and return injured for the  rest of their lives. The Disabled Veterans Of America. Here’s how we can help to give back to these fine citizen soldiers that gave the good fight.

 Give talents toward support the cause of the disabled veteran and help out in any way at your local VA hospital. They can use the help. Just a smile or a hello goes a long way.

 Help out the cause by flying the American Flag and let others know  you’re a proud American. Contact the congress and let them know your concerned about vet issues and better care in the VA hospitals across this great nation. 

  Support our troops and winning this war. It’s for the good of this  great nation we live in that we rid the world, if we can, of the terrorist elements that creep around every corner of the world today!

‘NO TO WEAK LAWS FOR ANY ILLEGALS!’

Dear reader-

 I heard on C-Span that the congress want to weaken laws to let illegals work and live in our country. In short, this is wrong and will weaken our working body. Weaken the wages we earn as honest working citizens paying out low wages for the same job.

  Put our nation in danger with having weak boarders, giving out driver’s licences to those who can’t speak the language, or  that could be a threat to national security! We only have to look at what happen at the Detroit Airport on Christmas!  Congress has to realize this fact and not pass laws that could endanger our nations security! Or for that matter  states that take a blind eye also on the issue.  A popularity contest over citizens!

 Unions want to have illegals to have more pull in ranks and power over all in the White House but have us pay for the cost of the bill in healthcare. Why they are pushing National Health Care as you read this!  Power plus you pay for this!  As a person who believes in unions, I can’t believe some but not all, would sell out the American worker.

 Finally, we have to have stronger control of who is here and have a watchful eye of those who are  a threat. Not lower our living to that of a third world country.  We shouldn’t have  to  put correctness in front of what is the right thing to do or make weak the American dollar for greed over the people! That is how I feel!!!

‘MY OPINIONS ON ABORTION ISSUE.’

ABORTION-

   This writer believe that to kill a life  specially a new-born baby is a sin and wrong.  I will let you the reader, search engine to find out  how bad this is. I don’t believe in abortion as a Catholic or funding to support such. As I do with End Of Life matters or forced suicides.  

  I will oppose any use of our tax money for abortions and work to end the killing of a human life new-born or  old.  This writer is appalled that to pass a bill the administration has to use strong-arm tactics and bullying to meet their ends. Such as threats  Sen. Lieberman’s wife’s  job.  If the senator didn’t “go along “  According to The Glenn Beck Show. That is shameful indeed.   Shameful that nobody covered this but Glenn Beck and others of Fox News. As the old saying goes, ” Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you!”
